well i'll be damned... i guess i can now say i've seen ol Mori the Moron solve six, i think, cases on his own without Conan making with the knockout needle. this one still counts too, because Kogoro knocked HIMSELF out after giving a big chunk of his deduction show. but the title for this episode is quite appropriate... he had to be led around by the nose for nigh on the whole episode before he figured it out. :D

i've gotta say this though about the dead fiancé. that guy killed somebody and then killed himself in prison for a very STUPID reason. principles? morals? ethics? "A brave man dies but once. A coward shall suffer a thousand deaths." bull$hit. both people die just once. the fiancé had a beautiful wife to be, a job, a happy life ahead of him. you're never going to see pretty art that way again. you'll never listen to beautiful music that way again. you won't be able to hold your loving wife in your arms in bed as she's happily sleeping. you've set all that aside to kill some guy over what? an idea? an ideal? something written thousands of years ago by somebody in some religious text? an ephemeral vapor or pattern of thought shall trump your continued happiness till you die of whatever natural causes could befall you? bull$hit. pure. unadulterated. distilled cow-crap!
